Staley Hoping to Fill Hole

Knowing that All-American center Brennan Carvalho has used up his eligibility, the Portland State football staff moved quickly to find a potential replacement. In order to find a candidate with experience, head coach Jerry Glanville and company went the junior college route and there they found Tyler Staley. The smart 6-foot-3, 275-pounder originally from Agoura, California did the job the past two years at the College of the Canyons and saw enough with Portland State to sign on as a mid-year transfer.
