With solid size and speed at offensive tackle, Zach Dias was hopeful that the recruiting process would pay dividends for him. But when the bigger schools backed off the athletic 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman from Solano College in California, one institution remained constant in their pursuit. So after Dias took an official visit to campus in early December, he came home discussed things over with his family, and decided that he'd sign with Portland State on national signing day.
