Friday Nights Best:: Volume 3

Outstanding Players make outstanding plays and we have some great ones again this week. Our third addition of Friday Night's Best is right here. Once again we have seen some tremendous individual and team efforts and things are getting really exciting as we come down the home stretch on our way to the play offs. The best submissions we have are right here:
Salvador Herrera; West Salem Titans: His name is Salvador Herrera and he rushed for a school record 261 yards on 22 carries and had 5 TD's. Central part of win over Sprague in one of the greatest shootout's of all time. The O-line was dominant, we had the ball 11 times and scored 9 TD's. WOW>

Cody Porter; Amity High School: Cody "The Bruiser" Porter a fullback for the Amity, went for 158 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries against Valley Catholic. Also, last week went for 146 yards on 12 touches and a score against Sheridan in 3A football.
Jordan Talley; Jesuit High School: Ran for 160 yards against one of the toughest defenses in the State and led the Crusaders past the Wildcats of Westview in a thriller that went to the wire at 23-24.
John Campbell; Sheldon High School: Campbell had 7 catches for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns against Roseburg in the SWC league opener. Touchdown receptions were of 72, 45, and 39 yards. Campbell is currently leading the state at the 6A level at the WR receiver position.
Jordan Johnson; Sheldon High School: Johnson had an unbelievable game against Roseburg in the league opener for both teams. Was 12 of 20 passing for 317 yards and 3 touchdowns, and also ran 16 times for 129 yards -- and 3 touchdowns rushing. For the year, Johnson now has 16 touchdown passes against just 1 interception, and has also rushed for 6 touchdowns on the year.
Chuy Alba; Riverside: Chuy had three interceptions against a tough Burns offense to help Riverside secure its first league over Burns, ever. Chuy also contributed around 50 yds rushing for the Pirates.
Isaac Seumalo; Corvallis High (JR): He is unstoppable and is beating almost everyone he faces and is crucial to Corvallis line efforts.
Jose Mancilla; Stanfield: 2 Rushing TD's (a 15 yard per carry average) 1 receiving TD (From 73 yards out) 1 Defensive TD (from 40ish yards out) and he had an INT on an extra point... (10 carries for 150 yards).
Mitch Dahlen; Redmond High School: He was 19 for 22 for 304 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Being looked at by several colleges already (Oregon,Oregon State). He is 6'4" and weighs 205 lbs. and is currently a junior participated in elite 11 last year in Orlando and performed very well. Runs a 4.8 and a 4.5 in the shuttle.
